Climate change
Over the past 50 years, the Crees have experienced many rapid and complex environmental changes, and the rapidity of climate change is likely to exacerbate the effects of major development projects and socio-economic constraints, and now represents an additional challenge to their way of life and the maintenance of their identity. The issues associated with climate change are an integral part of the CCEBJ's concerns in a number of areas.
